Nightmare Online Glasses Order: Avoid This Company!
I'm writing this because my experience ordering glasses from GlassesUSA was an absolute nightmare, a cautionary tale I desperately hope will save others from the same frustration. "This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I ordered…paying for the $19.95 next day delivery fee…hours later receive an email stating that “my order is in process and will take 3 business days”. Where is next day? I tried their live chat…automated bot. I emailed…crickets. I finally got a human on the phone, and after being put on hold, was told “I will submit your request to the billing department and it will be up to them.” Horrible business. Horrible customer service. Everything is automated…I will NEVER do business with this place again." That pretty much sums it up. I felt compelled to leave a review and attempt to contact customer service because I was completely ripped off and ignored.
Customer: I ordered glasses with next-day delivery, but it took three business days. I want a refund for the expedited shipping.
CS Rep: I apologize for the delay. Our system sometimes miscalculates delivery times. I'll submit a request for a refund.
Customer: A request? I paid for a service you didn't deliver. I expect an immediate refund, not a request.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to process.
Customer: Two to three more business days? This is unacceptable. I've lost confidence in your company.
