GlassesUSA Horror Story: My $246 Vanished & No Glasses! 😤💸
I'm writing this to warn everyone about my absolutely terrible online shopping experience. My hope is that my nightmare can prevent yours. I've used online glasses retailers before, but this recent incident with GlassesUSA has been a complete disaster. Imagine placing an order, having your hard-earned money taken, and then never receiving your product. GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I couldn't get a response for a refund; all they kept telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I desperately needed my money back, and felt compelled to reach out to their customer service, hoping a human would finally see my plight.
Customer: I'm calling about order #105081183. It was placed on February 24th, and I still haven't received it. The tracking is stuck, and I can't get any real answers. I just want my $246 refund. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I apologize for the delay you've experienced with your order, sir/ma'am. Let me look into order #105081183 for you. Customer: Look into it? I've been getting bot responses telling me it's "in transit" for weeks! It's clearly lost, or something is wrong. I need my money back. I used Zinni before and never had this problem. CS Rep: I see here the last update shows the package is still in transit from Atlanta. While we usually wait for a longer period before declaring it lost, given the extended delay, I can initiate a process to re-ship the order or apply for a refund for you. Customer: Re-ship? No, I want my money back. I don't trust the delivery anymore, and frankly, I'm fed up with the lack of communication. How long until I see that refund? CS Rep: Once initiated, refunds typically take 7-10 business days to process and appear on your statement. I will process that for you immediately.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
