My recent experience with GlassesUSA was nothing short of a terrible online shopping nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story as a warning to others. This company is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services they charge for but do NOT provide. I paid for “next day delivery” for my glasses, only to find my order would take three business days. This blatant disregard for their own promises, coupled with their impossible-to-reach, automated customer service, pushed me to my limits and left me feeling completely scammed. I had to speak to someone, anyone, to get my money back.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery on my order, but my tracking shows it won't arrive for days. I was charged $19.95 for a service I'm clearly not getting. CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delivery timeline. Let me pull up your order details to see what happened. Customer: It's not just frustration; it's deceptive. Your site said "next day delivery," and I chose that option specifically. Why was I charged for something you couldn't deliver? CS Rep: I apologize for the discrepancy between the advertised delivery and the actual processing time. There might have been an unforeseen delay in production, even with plano lenses. I can certainly submit a refund request for the $19.95 express shipping fee to our billing department for you. Customer: Submitting a request isn't good enough. I need that refund processed. It's clearly not "next day." This is why I called, after emails went unanswered and the bot chat was useless.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of unfulfilled promises and non-existent customer support.
