Dishonest Promos & Glitches: A Customer Service Nightmare 😤
My terrible online shopping experience is a cautionary tale for anyone considering this company. I tried to use a promotion, their website glitched, and their support was utterly useless. My conclusion? They are "Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional." They admitted it was their error but offered a solution so absurd I had to contact them directly, hoping a human would be more reasonable. This conversation is why I’m leaving this review.
Customer: My BOGO promotion didn't apply at checkout because your site glitched. I need you to honor the offer and credit my account.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. I see the order, but unfortunately, we cannot apply discounts after a purchase is completed.
Customer: So it's my fault your website is broken? Your other agent said I have to return my glasses, which are the correct style and prescription, and then re-order them. That's insane.
CS Rep: I understand it's frustrating, but the only way for the system to process the BOGO offer is for you to return the current order for a full refund and place a new one.
Customer: Just credit the difference back to my card. It's a simple solution to a problem that you created. Why is that so hard?
CS Rep: I apologize, but our policy doesn't allow for partial refunds in this manner. The return-and-reorder process is the only solution we can offer at this time.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
